What makes your style stand out?
Culture and fluidity makes my style stand out. The binary often puts us in subconscious boxes that we find hard to get ourselves out of. When looking for newness, I realized that a fluid approach to all forms of expression would give me the freedom I needed when showing up in the world.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be to curate a collection of some sort. Ideally, it would be focused on fashions of the diaspora. Being Jamaican-American, I believe this would greatly impact my community. Lineage and ancestor appreciation is important to me.
What would you do with $20,000?
Being a multi-faceted creative, I’d use the 20,000 to bring life to my projects. Visuals, music and more access to art that fuels my passion would be my goal when using my resources.
