My style is my favorite form of art to create. Everyday that I’m blessed to wake up, I’m a blank canvas ready to express myself to world.
What makes your style stand out?
Oddly, I’ve never been a fan of trends. While I appreciate the style of others that are inspired by trends, I’ve always been drawn to original concepts. Things I have not seen before on anyone or anywhere other than in my mind, then I source my ideas as closely as I can get to that idea. I think the final look usually translates that originality to others.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Easy. The MET GALA. Treating the world like a runway is one thing but to step foot on one of the most important red carpets in the world, surrounded by so many people who share a passion for fashion (even behind the scenes) would truly be a dream.
What would you do with $20,000?
I’d put a dent in my student loans and help my nieces/nephews with their school shopping. It hurts me when I can’t do that!
