140 words? C'mon 🤣 Being creative, fashion, creating things is so fun. At every pivotal point in my life, it saves me from ending it all.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jeremiah Borkowski in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
What makes my style stand out is the urge to pop out, not care about what's in, out and blah blah blah. I love to mix textures, colours, pieces that don't "work together", I say that with quotations because you can make anything work with confidence. I'm inspired by the elderly who colour their hair, the scared youth getting a piercing and a different style of pants, anyone who says screw what anyone says I'm wearing this. That is what style is to me, YOUR take on what you want to present!
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be to have a charity fashion show giving back to the homeless community! For the show I would collaborate with local designers, drag artists, creatives, and homeless charities to invite anyone who could use some sense of community. And could just use a smile on their face! The show would be all centered around fun, self expression, everything whacky. That's what fashion is all about to me, joy and whatever YOUR self expression is.
What would you do with $20,000?
I'd be honored to donate $20000 to Ribbon Community in Vancouver BC, (Formally known as Aids Vancouver). When I was Ms.Gay Vancouver they were one of our chosen charities to raise money for. All the staff there truly care for building the community, taking care of people, and educating us on up to date resources & information relating to safe drug use, HIV prevention/treatment, and mental health awareness. I'm lucky to be sober and have support, not everyone does and it breaks my heart.
