My style is bold, maximalist, and colorful. It’s a mix of 90s girl hip hop, grunge, and street wear. Love pushing the envelope.
What makes your style stand out?
4C hair curly girl who loves bold prints, texture, edge, grunge, and maximalism. I dye my hair warm-toned colors, while striving for mixed print and monochrome looks that stand out. I love 2-inch nails and being a 100% black American princess inspired by Lil Kim, Diana Ross, Eve, Donna Summers, strippers, Labelles, Erykah Badu, and Teyana Taylor.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Dream fashion moment, professionally designing my evening gowns, I've drawn as a kid. I am a fashion designer by nature. I have drawn evening gowns since I was 8 years old because my mom is a designer and seamstress who made her own wedding dress. In 4th grade, I drew gowns for cash, went to fashion camp, studied merchandising, sewing, trends, and costume design. I would be elated to bring all my creativity to life in real life for someone who loves my designs and to run my own fashion show.
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20K, I’d finally get a real shot at stability. Since leaving my corporate job to pursue marketing, I’ve juggled freelance gigs and pet sitting, relying on my grandma and even food pantries just to eat. I’d use the money to move to Chicago, cover essentials, pay off debt, get basic healthcare, and start building a life I’ve fought hard to create. I’m 30, single, and ready for a life that doesn’t just feel like survival.
