What makes your style stand out?

Like any other big brand, years and years from now I will have that signature of knowing, that’s J. Savarielle. My style branches out and explores as you would traveling the world- every niche will be filled and every body will feel seen and appreciated. My style appreciates. The small things, the loud things, and the things you have yet to learn.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

Stepping out on stage- the building filled with artists, creatives, and designers - MY art lining the walls MY styles filling the crowd and MY work flooding the stage- with me in the center of it all. My dream is giving a real show, giving something to be inspired by- I want to be the designer models line sidewalks for, shows want me as a special guest, I don’t my looks to be valued based on who wore them but the story it tells, the details it holds and the emotion that graces you.

What would you do with $20,000?

As every emerging designer does, I’m building my own brand- J. Savarielle- and the economy is never nice to anybody. Being completely self taught means skipping over steps to keep up with everyone else but still making it seamless. 20K would let me retrace my steps and solidify areas I glazed over because I was in a rush to not be left behind, but that doesn’t mean I’m any less talented or dedicated to perfecting every craft I take on.
