My mom always dressed me funny. I had a plaid jumpsuit and a blue polyester Safari suit. I gave up drag as a grew facial hair in my 30s!
What makes your style stand out?
I tend to buy suits in the same stores where gospel singers and pimps shop. A lot of my clothes are custom-made by friends!
What’s your dream fashion moment?
I don’t wear the baggy suits I wore in my 30s and 40s. I love jackets in 3-D. Even if they are fake jewels, I feel like Liberace. Burl Ives widow gave me a jacket that once belonged to Liberace.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would put this towards a short film or a recording. I’m always working on an artistic project either for myself or for someone I am a fan of.
