What makes your style stand out?

What makes my style unique is me. My style is all about utility and up cycled/recycled pieces. A old oversized frumpy sweater can look trendy if you acid wash it properly. An ordinary pair of baggy white jeans can become extraordinary by screen printing them. I keep whatever I have that I don't hate and I turn it into something I love. With my size and proportions most things in stores are too big, too small, or too expensive, so I have learned to make what I have work to the maximum.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment would probably be getting to collab/work with any one of my favorite designers and modeling for them. I've walked in a fashion show or two but I have never gotten to work up close with a designer and growing up in the Midwest there weren't ample opportunities for modeling. I'm hoping that this competition could be an opening for me to immerse myself back in the world of fashion and share my unique style, expression , and perspective with the world!

What would you do with $20,000?

I intend on using the 20,000 I get from this competition to invest into my modeling and traveling. It has been my intention to get back into modeling as well as traveling to see my family in Portugal, however costs have prevented both of those things. With the money from this competition I would hire a photographer to help me get a current professional portfolio together and build from there. I believe that this combined with a Flaunt feature might just be the kickstart that I needed!
