What makes your style stand out?

My style is experimental, unabashedly queer, and has a strong focus on sustainability. I thrift, alter, and make almost everything in my closet. I love to play with textures and typically incorporate elements of kink and bondage. Being trans and gay puts me in the crosshairs of people who desperately want me to be invisible, to hide myself, to cover up any remnants of my identity that doesn't align with their idea of what a man should and shouldn't be.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream is to be recognized for my talent, and guided towards success in the industry as someone who makes garments. I never had enough money for fashion school, so everything I know I learned using what resources I had access to. I want to be connected to my fellow fashion rebels and deviants. Not a single moment, but a series of moments leading me toward a sustainable life, where I never have to worry about where my next meal is gonna come from.

What would you do with $20,000?

I want to invest in my future. 20k would rid me of debt and finance my career in fashion. I would be willing and able to move to a place that I could make a fresh start and find my way to success. It would pay for classes and workshops to help me along the way. It would be truly life changing.
