Jasper Justine

Style is the visual expression of someone’s character. Good style tells everyone who you are by a single look. That to me is wonderful.

What makes your style stand out?

I always want to make a visual statement that tells people who I am without needing to speak to me. My style is that. Bright. Colourful. Full of literal secret pockets of detail wherever I can get away with it which serve to say “there’s more you don’t know”. And there is more. My style is also edges, zippers, and dark fabric. My style is myself. True confidence comes from ones true colours, and I think that is what stands out.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

A moment of inspiration for someone to find their own style unique to themself. I, like many, have tried and failed to blend in before. However, as I eventually grew comfortable enough to wear what felt natural and unique to myself, others were drawn to me. This comfort and expression brought me a life changing confidence that reshaped the way I spoke to people, the way I thought, and even how I walked. My style was a factor in self discovery, and I want to give that gift to someone else.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 is a life changing amount of money and not really an amount of money I can imagine having. I just got out of school, and I don’t think I have lived enough life to know how to use that money wisely. I would hold onto it until I find a meaningful way to use it. Be it through education, charity, my family, investment, or whatever I might find a passion for. Regardless, I have some living and thinking to do before I would know how to use that money wisely.
