“Style is comfort with attitude — my art, my armor, my power.”
We would like to thank you for supporting Janice Maslanko in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
I’m passionate about style because it’s more than clothes — it’s C-O-M-F-O-R-T with an attitude. I love the textures, the clash of colors, the way design can flip the script and turn the ordinary into something unforgettable. To me, style is part armor, part art form. It’s about walking into a room and owning it before you even say a word. Looking good isn’t vanity — it’s power, and when I feel good in what I wear, I’m unstoppable.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment? Easy. Picture this: Gianni Versace, Giorgio Armani, and Christian Dior — the triple threat — teaming up to make me one dress. Versace brings the fearless glamour, Armani lays down the sleek tailoring, and Dior drapes it all in pure drama. The result? A piece that’s not just a dress, but a declaration: bold, timeless, and unapologetically mine.
What would you do with $20,000?
If I win the fashion contest and get $20,000? I’d SPEND it — unapologetically. On textiles that make my heart race, on statement pieces that turn sidewalks into runways, and on creating a wardrobe that feels like wearable art. Style isn’t about saving it for “someday” — it’s about living it now.
