My style isn’t just curated by me singularly, it is an accumulation of my ancestors creativity expressing themselves through my being.
What makes your style stand out?
I don’t think it’s what makes my style standout - because art is always deeper than that. I think it’s the person I embody. How can I show freedom & authenticity through my clothes if I don’t embody the truth of freedom, openness, authenticity & expression? As above so below, as within so without - my external world must match the magic & the art of my inner world, & I make that a point everyday that the light within me shines through the fabrics of my soul.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Dream fashion moment is being able to be up on stage performing my music wearing an outfit that perfectly encapsulates the energy of the song. To allow the world to be moved through all the senses - a sense of full body unity.
What would you do with $20,000?
Build. Grow. Evolve. Express authenticity & build, grow & evolve my outlets to express authentically. not just through fashion but through all avenues of art like my voice, my music. my ability to express & it be a stream of consciousness that was uniquely placed within me to share, an honor - an obligation. It’s not what I would do with $20,000 it’s what $20,000 would do with me. How it would bless me, open me to an expansive way to create & express. Build me, grow me evolve me.
