Style makes me passionate because it saved me. It’s how I became visible to myself. Now I use it to speak, dream, and lead.
We would like to thank you for supporting Isela Favela in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because it’s not just what I wear, it’s who I’ve survived to become. I’ve used clothes to protect, to reveal and to transform. Every outfit holds a little joy, a little grief, and a little rebellion. I don’t dress to impress. I dress to remember who I am.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is the one where I feel my life shift. I’m wearing something soft, sacred, and sharp like truth. I feel beautiful, free, and seen by the world and by myself. It’s not about being watched. It’s about being known. I’ll cry. I’ll laugh. I’ll remember it forever. That’s the moment I know: I’ve arrived.
What would you do with $20,000?
I’d use the $20,000 to create a soul-centered fashion project blending visual storytelling, healing, and style. I’d invest in travel, creative direction, and mentorship to turn my story into something that helps others feel seen too. It wouldn’t just change my life, it would open a door for every version of me who needed a light.
