What makes your style stand out?
My versatility!! I love trying new things and putting on different characters. I can do preppy, sporty, chic, runway, avant garde, streetwear, opium, unconventional, western, horror, red carpet, church, formal wear. You name it and I can come up with a look for it that’ll guarantee to turn heads! There are so many different looks that can vary based on culture, religion, and tradition. I love to switch it up and make them say, “DAMN! What can’t she do!?!” 😎
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream is to attend Fashion Week of course!! I have respect for designers, stylists, makeup artists, hair stylists, nail techs and I love to watch people show off their artistic abilities. I’ve watched every fashion show you can possibly think of: Project Runway, Making The Cut, The Hype. I love to watch creatives do their thing. Attending a Fashion Week would be a DREAM COME TRUE! 😭 I also would like to learn how to sew, so I can start creating my own pieces for family and friends.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would open up a boutique to assist underserved/marginalized communities. I hate that people think you need to spend a lot of money in order to look good. 🍅🍅 Style is not what you put on. It’s in you!! If you can take pieces from thrift stores/clearance racks and turn it into high fashion, you are the definition of a fashionista!! I think it’s important to relate to the everyday person and show ALL classes of people that it doesn’t matter what’s in your bank account. You too can turn heads!
