I reference my past, and animated influences. I believe in “persona” styling where you become what you wear.

What makes your style stand out?
I reference my favorite tv shows, my mixed black and Hispanic heritage and honestly anything cool or interest in I see on tv or in person. I reference a lot of animated characters but I also like creating fashion personas which I touch on in my book “Persona Based Styling”
What’s your dream fashion moment?
I want to design a collection what dives into beauty and destruction. I love contrasting ideas but also highlighting the beauty that comes through pain. I want to creative direct a show for a major fashion week.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would start a thrift store that upcycles old clothing and redesigns it into new ones. We would host shows and invite aspiring designers to create and showcase all in house.
