I never really thought my style stood out. I just like mixing patterns, prints, and colors in ways that feel good to me and my imagination. I don’t follow trends, though I know them well from working in fashion and teaching it. I love art, my culture, innovation, wearing interesting pieces, and the craftsmanship that brings fashion to life.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment would be to have a byline or styling credits in any major publication I’ve admired since my teens. It would feel like a full-circle moment and solidify my place in the industry. I’d also love to curate an innovative fashion exhibition or attend a high-end couture show that celebrates ingenuity and artistry.

What would you do with $20,000?

I’d use the $20,000 to move back to New York and reinvest in my artistic future, building my brand through passion projects that merge fashion, storytelling, and culture while celebrating personal style. I’d use part of the funds to produce new fashion writing projects and collaborate on visually engaging experiences. The opportunity would give me the freedom to expand my work, give back to the community, travel, and deepen my connections in the city.
