What makes your style stand out?

I’m bringing a modernity and a forward mind set to things that have been only connected to traditional and thin feminity & honestly there’s no one like me doing what I’m doing. I know that is cocky of me to type out but when you’re a gender nonconforming, fat femme, who dresses like a femme fatale out of an old Hollywood noir, and doesn’t see yourself reflected anywhere, you start to realize there is no one like you.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

The moment Salvador Dali drew Donyale Luna a dress, while Luna was in the dress is a dream moment. Imagine an artist who’s created some of the most surreal and dream like art in history, looking at you & being inspired enough to draw his vision on to what you’re wearing? What a moment.

What would you do with $20,000?

Well I would use a large amount for rent savings because living in New York is deranged, and I’d like to keep living where I am for as long as I can, but we digress. If I could use some of the money on something more to splurge on, something just for me, I’d like to find one of Marilyn Monroe’s lipsticks at an auction. To own something of hers, would mean a lot. She's the reason why I fell in love with vintage style and classic cinema which are such huge parts of my identity.
