What makes your style stand out?
I strive to create trends rather than follow them allowing for my natural artistry to flow. As a women, we’ve come a long way in our society with how much of ourselves we can show, and through my style I express gratitude for the skin I was born into. As a queer Caribbean-Canadian I enjoy bold colour, pattern and hairstyling which keeps people constantly guessing and looking.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
It has been my dream to run and walk in my own fashion show featuring sustainable fashion.
What would you do with $20,000?
I have recently started a business called Hallee Rose Art & Spirituality where I connect spiritual, mental and physical wellbeing through diverse forms of artistic expression. I offer tarot readings, reiki and spiritual guidance on my social media platforms. I also love to teach viewers about chakra work, manifestation, meditation and creativity. With this financial grant I would expand my business by investing in a studio space to further build my brand.
