Grace Fombin

Fashion is my art form—style is my story, vision is my impact, and it’s not what I wear, it’s who I am. The runway is only the beginning.

What makes your style stand out?

My style stands out because it’s rooted in constant expression and evolution. Fashion isn’t just about clothes for me it’s how I translate the way I see the world. Growing up, I was often discouraged from exploring my style, but instead of dimming my creativity, it pushed me to be even bolder. Over the years, I’ve built confidence in expressing myself through both clothes and music, and the results have not only reflected my growth but also inspired others. I aim to outdo my last.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment would be walking a true runway all while wearing pieces I never imagined I’d even touch, let alone style, and eventually showcasing my own designs. To me, that would be the ultimate full-circle experience: being both the muse and the creator. Even if it only happened once, I know it would replay in my mind forever though realistically, once wouldn’t be enough for me once I’ve tasted that dream. You couldn’t keep me from a runway after letting me strut it even just once.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, I would pour into my creativity and direction, making intentional steps into the rooms I know I belong in. Since childhood, I’ve been in love with music and fashion, and today I merge both in the way I create content aligning style, background, and sound to make an impact. As francophone African women me and my cousin aimed to create and inspire, we started a brand called Très Chic, and reviving it would not only honor where I started but also cement the future I’m working toward.
