Style is a statement, an articulated punch of expression against repression. If you want power, dress yourself for it.
What makes your style stand out?
To me, style is nonconformity, it is a unique expression. I believe that clothes don’t harbor a gender, instead connote their belonging to an individual. With my style, I treat every garment or accessory, no matter how basic or statementy, as a mere fragment of a picture. The beauty of style is uniting it not by mere color, but by what it means to you, each necklace being necessary in becoming your battle armor to face life’s runway. If style is who you are, then be everything you can.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
All of my life I’ve truly felt most myself when given a long stretch of ground and a beat in my head, so I dream of getting the chance to strut down a runway as the center of the show, not having to fight for the room to step.
What would you do with $20,000?
As a college student, getting $20,000 would be an amount that could change my life and the course of my education. I would put the money towards paying for loans and investing myself further into arts, specifically the intersection between musical performance and styling and the statement of fashion.
