Style lets me turn history and subculture into self-expression—blending past and present to create something original and alive.
We would like to thank you for supporting Gavin Munnell in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style fuses vintage designer with Japanese 2000s streetwear, elevated by rock and underground culture. I turn nostalgia into something fresh—making rare archival pieces wearable in today’s world. My signature accessories, like my flip phone necklace, give my looks an iconic edge that people instantly recognize. It’s not just clothes—it’s storytelling.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Walking a major runway in a look I styled myself, with the world watching. To merge my modeling and styling work into one unforgettable moment where I embody my own vision—bringing vintage streetwear and underground influence into high fashion. That moment would prove that style built on individuality, history, and culture belongs on the biggest stage.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would invest the $20,000 into developing my brand through sourcing the best materials, ethical production, and thoughtful design—never cutting corners on quality. Alongside that, I’d put resources into marketing and creative direction to share the vision on a larger scale. This would allow me to build a brand that merges underground culture with luxury craftsmanship and has the platform to grow globally.
