as a queer black woman, I’ve always been able to express myself with my clothes in ways that I cannot verbally. I AM style.
What makes your style stand out?
My fashion is very authentically Black American. I come from a lineage of very resilient people, and I believe that shows in my fashion.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be working with Teyana Taylor. I first fell in love with her at the age of six while watching my super sweet 16 on MTV. Since then I have followed her career studying to see what I can learn from such an icon.
What would you do with $20,000?
I am currently attending Morgan State University studying fashion merchandising. I will put the $20,000 towards receiving my masters in fashion marketing or fashion merchandising.
