What makes your style stand out?

I believe that my style is a unique blend between an American Princesse, an African Queen and a French Empress. Having lived on 3 different continents ( Africa, Europe and America), my styling perspective is very unique. I don't like rules nor following trends because I've always marched to the beats of my own drum. I prefer classic and elegant styles that match my body type over trendy pieces. Last but not least, comfort is a must unless I'm wearing a corset gown and want to make a statement.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I launched my brand, 10,000 Threads, in 2019 to merge African heritage fabrics with modern designs. My vision is to uplift artisans, create economic opportunities, and bring something unique to fashion while honoring my traditions. Like many entrepreneurs, my path has been a roller coaster but every turn has led me here, ready to make an impact at Style Icon. Utimately, I want my clothing line to become a success story and I know that this experience will shape me to be the best version of me.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 can turn my dream into reality and create a lasting impact in my community. For the past 3 months, I’ve been working on a secret project and Style Icon is among the first to hear about it: I am building a Fashion Academy in Guinea to teach young women everything from design concepts to finished garments. I’ve already secured a location and personally invested in 10 industrial sewing machines to bring this vision to life. My goal is to have a functioning fashion academy by January 2026.
