Modeling & fashion has been my gateway to creative self expression. I feel as if I can truly present myself and be walking art.
We would like to thank you for supporting Faraji Ogwal in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because I don’t stay in one lane. I mix streetwear, tailoring, and cultural influences to create looks that feel personal and unexpected. Fashion is storytelling through contrast; sharp with soft, polished with raw, familiar with foreign. I pull inspiration from everywhere: downtown walks, nature, shows I watch, and translate those moments into outfits that feel alive and distinctly mine.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be stepping into a major fashion week. Paris, Milan, New York, Tokyo...immersed in the energy of the shows. Walking, networking, and sharing space with icons I admire like Alton Mason, Jordan Rand, and Wisdom Kaye would be surreal. They’ve shaped my vision of style, and being among them would feel like arriving at the place I’ve always dreamed my fashion journey could lead.
What would you do with $20,000?
I'd use that money to help my family, especially my mom and brother. I'd invest it and also donate some of it as well! I believe in a lot of social movements that I think would benefit from it. Lastly, pay off any debt I may have. And then the rest, travel of course!
