What makes your style stand out?

I do my best to incorporate one item at least that I either made or altered by hand. I want my style to look as personalized and special as it feels.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I truly love being on the runway, although I’ve only been on one. It was the time of my life, not for just showing my style and the clothes I make, but for the people that come up to me afterwards and tell me how I inspired them. My fashion dream is to push the boundaries of what’s normal and to make it accepted and let people feel comfortable expressing themselves through style.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would want to pursue my passions, the arts, from performance to illustration. although it is the delight of my life, it is a costly love. from sewing machines to screen printing there is many ways that this prize could help. However, I know that money is nothing without the effort whether or not I win I will keep creating until you’re forced to look.
