What makes your style stand out?

To me, it’s about the attitude as much as it is the clothes. Clothing serves as a silent communicator for the personality representing it. Some days I feel moody, some days I feel sloppy. Others clean, tailored, or very feminine. I find that my style stands out the most when I adore whatever I’m wearing.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment is composing, creatively directing, and writing an editorial spread for a major fashion publication someday. Bonus if I’m attending stellar PR events, and exclusive dinner parties along the way. Diversity in background, thought, and ideas are what keeps the industry’s heart pumping and the culture alive—things my vision for print would promise.

What would you do with $20,000?

My dream is to bring back the magic of print media and creative journalism in fashion. I collect vintage magazines like Life, Rolling Stone, Vogue, Creem, and more—dating back as early as the 60’s. With $20,000, I would use the money to print and produce my first very own magazine based in Detroit. This project has been in the works already for a couple years—all I need is a little assistance!
