Style is my freedom. It’s how I carve space for my spirit, show my truth without words, and let my presence speak before I do.
We would like to thank you for supporting Ethereal O'Veal in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because it isn’t curated from magazines or stitched together from trends. It’s the way I translate my soul into fabric, the way I turn mornings into metaphors and evenings into silhouettes. I don’t dress to be perfect, I dress to be present. To remind myself that beauty can be a kind of honesty, and honesty can be worn like a crown. And it makes me wonder… isn’t style just the story we’re all secretly trying to tell?
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is walking the Met Gala carpet in a look so breathtaking it makes people rethink what style can do. It nods to history, winks at the theme, and still feels entirely my own. I don’t want to just wear fashion, I want to create a conversation piece, something that lingers long after the flashes fade. Because isn’t the real dream not just to be seen, but to be remembered?
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20,000, I’d start with two luxe fragrances that feel like bottled memories and a luxury handbag, because pleasure is part of purpose. Indulgence matters. But the real boss move is taking the rest and investing it into my own luxury handbag company. Because owning a piece is one thing, but creating the pieces that others dream of? That’s legacy. Because what’s the point of wearing the dream if you’re not also building it?
