Style is what makes you you. Whether its baggy sweatshirt and joggers or slim and thin clothes, there's always something to match the mood.
We would like to thank you for supporting Ethan Vaughan in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
I've never been one for the spotlight. Often times because people underestimate the power of being unseen. In a world where everyone is obsessed with being seen, it's actually those who do the most that are in the way. I love a double take. A moment in time that has someone actually riveted and so offset that people change their perspectives. That's my style; that I don't feel the need to stand out.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
I've never been obsessed with a moment, because then everything after that is taken so lightly. If life is a runway, why obsess over the lift off. I live to love the speed and exhilaration of the path less traveled. If I could feel something so palpable, so real that people could one day look back and say,"that, right there, was the moment that changed everything" then I could die happy. Forget the power, the money, the the greed. I want a moment that people could define themselves by.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would donate $10,000 dollars to a charity. True change comes from understanding that the good we do towards others captures a moment that someone might never forget. I want to be remembered for what I did for others, not just myself. The other half I would use to help out my family. Recent experiences taught me that family isn't something that you get from birth. It's a thing you cultivate through love, and shared experiences.
