My style stands out because it is true to—and, as such, reflective of—who I am. And there's only one me.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My ultimate dream fashion moment would be to style the first woman or openly LGBTQ+ U.S. president, or the next U.S. president of color, for their first inaugural address. Other dream fashion moments of mine include leading the costume styling for a major biopic or biographical Broadway production depicting the life of a Black fashion icon (e.g., Naomi Campbell, André Leon Talley) or Black and openly LGBTQ+ social justice leader or Hollywood icon (e.g., TS Madison, RuPaul, Dominique Morgan).

What would you do with $20,000?

I would invest the $20,000 in my ongoing and planned entrepreneurial efforts in companion animal welfare, home design, and fashion styling. I would also use the money to fund my musical interests; I find great joy in writing songs, and I would be thrilled to fund the independent release of an album of my own someday. I would also use some of the money to spoil Banda, my rescue cat from Cairo, Egypt, with new toys, scratching posts, and cat trees that are equal parts functional and beautiful.
