What makes your style stand out?

Far from fashion capitals, I grew up in a small Midwest suburb of Missouri. Although fashion sensibility wasn’t something I was in the midst of, it gave me the opportunity to freely invent its meaning for myself. My mother will tell you, at 18 months, I was demanding to not wear a dress; by seven years, I was hand picking outfits that she would later say, “even an adult couldn’t put together.” My style stands out because it’s who I am without having to speak.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I used to make window displays for Nordstrom- the act of combining visual art with fashion in a space has always inspired me. My dream fashion moment is to work creating in-person artistic spaces for fashion campaigns.

What would you do with $20,000?

My dream is to attend business school to get my masters in fashion & luxury marketing. I would definitely use the $20,000 to get myself to Europe to study and complete my goal.
