What makes your style stand out?

Born in China, I never fit its beauty ideals and hid in T-shirts and jeans. Canada gave me freedom—I embraced my size, my weight, my voice. Today my style is classy yet daring, fusing modern confidence with Chinese culture. It’s something my parents may not approve of, but it’s authentically me—and I love it.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment is as simple as walking down the street, hearing strangers’ compliments, and knowing my style inspires others to embrace themselves—and my culture. And if one day I step onto a red carpet in a bold, elegant look that makes people stop and stare, it will be the same dream on a bigger stage: fashion as confidence, connection, and celebration.

What would you do with $20,000?

I want to take a big trip with my family. We haven’t been able to travel together since I left for college, and I miss those moments deeply. This trip would let us reconnect, laugh, and simply be together again—and we’ll take lots of great photos to capture those memories forever.
