What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because it is unconventional as well as timeless. I do not conform to a trend or what the typical man wears. My style is a mix of vintage items, classic accessories that can stand the test of time, images on clothing that communicate an idea, pop, a focus on the construction & structure of items, as well as the ability to pull together looks that are reflective of international cultures converging. And of course the perfect pair of aviators.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Traveling to various cities & countries and exploring their vintage and consignment stores to discover hidden treasures - after spending time sitting and observing what the locals are wearing. I experience so much joy from learning, witnessing, and talking to people from other parts of the world. Understanding what clothing they like, what is produced and local to their region of the world, as well as the history behind these concepts inspires my imagination & creativity. It’s limitless.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would pay off my student loans from my doctoral program so I could offer more pro-bono treatment for Gen Z patients and individuals of immigrant families who are in need of mental health services but do not have access to quality healthcare coverage and do not have the funds to pay for therapy services.
