What makes your style stand out?

The creativity of my designs makes my garments stand out. I love to use appliqués to add a glamorous touch to my pieces. My gowns create a bold statement and are made to tell a story. My style is not easily defined. What makes my style stand out is its boldness. The boldness you see in my work speaks to the confidence of the initial thoughts perceived before the creating process even began. Every piece is made with passion with a goal of showing a little bit who I truly am.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment is to pass down my designer abilities to my children to continue my legacy. I also always have said that I didn’t want my first fashion show to be small. My dream is to have breathtaking pieces on an amazing runway for my first show. I never imagine me going small my first show. I picture the lighting being perfect, the music being the perfect fit for my models, and the people I love the most there to cheer me on. The dream is to never quit.

What would you do with $20,000?

With 20,000 I would firstly invest in more classes to continue perfecting my craft. I believe that there is always more to learn. Fashion is ever evolving so we should be open and ready to level up at all times. I would then use what I learn to help other designers grow their careers by showing and teaching what I learned. I would use the money to learn more pattern-making so that I could make and digitize my own patterns to sell and create generational wealth for my family and I.
