What makes your style stand out?
My personal style codes are rooted in the juxtaposition of opposites. Creating tension in my looks by pairing supplementary textures, colors or patterns gives an energy of “effortlessness.” I like to break out of conventional genderlines. I often find wear womenswear pieces that speak to me. What makes my style stand out is my individuality. (and my vast vintage Versace collection! i’m the “thrift detective” lol) I don’t follow trends; I set them.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream would be to style a Versace runway show for Dario Vitale! After 17 years of styling for high profile clients such as Beyoncé, IvyPark, Adidas, Serena Williams, LaLa Anthony, NFL's Super Bowl Halftime Shows to name a few, I'm definitely ready to rejoin my original post-college plan: succeed in an in-house Stylist role for a leading, heritage Fashion house.
What would you do with $20,000?
i would finally be able to pay down my student loans! I studied Luxury Brand Management in Paris at ESSEC. My studies included firsthand lectures at Hèrmes, Veuve Clicquot, and Van Cleef et Arpels. Although my education is vital to my career success, the costs and interest of these loans are predatory for students.
