What makes your style stand out?

It's shaped by personal, cultural, and generational influences. I see style as an extension of myself, having observed my elders born in the 1910s and beyond, watching how their style evolved and influenced others. As my great-grandmother taught me, life is not a dress rehearsal, and you ONLY get one chance to make a first impression, so why not showcase your originality! I aim to cultivate my style organically because true beauty lies in finding elegance in the atypical and unconventional.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

To re-enter a career in the fashion industry at a corporate level as a visual architect consultant, fashion director, or creative director. Additionally, to gain mentorship from multiple fashion and business tastemakers to help improve my company “The Artrium Group” operationally, especially in launching my initial company offering “Le Artrium,” which is a creative showroom focused on providing tailored solutions through collaborative and creative services, as well as fashion e-commerce.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would allocate some of the money to pay off my Covid-19 debt, thereby improving my credit and gaining access to better business funding. This aligns with my goal of building a minority-owned luxury conglomerate that values Black, POC, and LGBTQ+ influences while reintroducing artfulness and craftsmanship.
