What makes your style stand out?
My style does not shy away from bold colors and my height allows me to wear over the top styles without crossing from tasteful to tacky. I am rejecting polyester in favor of cotton and more sustainable fabric. I rewear clothes from years past because fashion cycles. Leopard prints, black pants, red dresses, one-shoulder tops, and bright blues and pinks are often part of the plan.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
I always loved the outdoor fashion modeling scenes in the Audrey Hepburn film Funny Face. I also love the funny jazz dance scene in the movie. I’ll never be Audrey Hepburn but who doesn’t want a “Bird of Paradise” moment?
What would you do with $20,000?
I would use it to remodel my home. The strange deck and creepy basement need to change for the good of my community. I would also donate to The Nature Conservancy.
