What makes your style stand out?

I think my whimsicalness and dislike of bland and uniformity. My style is a blend of avant-garde mixed with a love of patterns and clothes that can breathe. I love duality and finding a way to blend aspects into my look. Theres something about the versatility of humans. Even the bald head in the front and the locs in the back tell two different stories. I like to be very visible if that makes sense and I love a whole outfit of statement pieces; I like to buy things that make me say ooo and ahh.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

Besides this competition and what it has to offer, which are dreams come true. I would love to not just attend but to walk in and close several shows for Paris, New York and Milan Fashion weeks! It's a dream to become a cover star for Vouge, Wonderland, GQ, ESSENCE and FLAUNT; draped in customs and archival pieces. I guess i have several dreams because I could definitely see myself tearing down the MET GALA steps, not in a boring suit either but in the most theatrical way to play the theme.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000 at one moment, I would love to invest that in getting some projects off the ground like self-publishing my science fiction and fantasy books. I'd like to get the right equipment so I can go even harder working on my music and develop "The Day by Day'Von Show" further. I'd also love to set up my little brothers a savings bond in a trust that accrue more over time so by the time they hit 20 they can have a decent amount of pocket change.
