I have a conservative style. I love finding vintage pieces from thrifting. I am also a Fashion Design and Museum Studies student at KSU.
What makes your style stand out?
My style is unique to me as I prefer a feminine touch to all my clothing and accessories. Despite the stereotypes attached to my preferences in clothing, I choose to boldly wear them to show others that what you wear doesn't define who you are. Fashion is an art, and art is a form of self-expression, so as long as you aren't actively hurting someone, dress how you want.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Working as Collections and/or Registrar at a Costume and Textile museum, and to revive my grandmother's costume shop. Her costume shop was a place where everyone was welcomed and cared for regardless of their place in life. Every person was treated with dignity and respect, and no one left that shop disappointed.
What would you do with $20,000?
Use it to open up my ability to travel without worry for my Internship as opposed to taking out a loan. I would set aside the rest for future investment in the costume shop.
