Fashion has always been more than just clothes for me it’s a way to tell a story without saying a word.
We would like to thank you for supporting David Adebamowo in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style blends creativity with authenticity. I pull inspiration from culture, art, and everyday life to create looks that feel bold yet relatable. It’s not just about wearing clothes it’s about curating a mood, mixing unexpected elements, and telling a story that resonates with people. My style stands out because it reflects both individuality and connection.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Walking at New York Fashion Week was a surreal moment it felt like stepping into the pages of a dream. The energy, the lights, the crowd it was more than a runway, it was validation of my passion. My dream is to keep building on that moment: to not only walk but one day showcase my own collection at NYFW, sharing my vision with the world on one of fashion’s biggest stages.
What would you do with $20,000?
I’d invest in bringing my vision to life sourcing quality materials, building a sustainable production process, and creating opportunities for collaboration with other artists. I’d also use part of it to produce a professional showcase and expand my platform to reach wider audiences, turning passion into lasting influence.
