What makes your style stand out?
I help run a family business called MellenCreations with my mother and grandmother. We create traditional Indigenous clothing, each piece made with care and a personal touch. Through our work, we share our culture, creativity, and stories with others.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Currently designing a long black dress with sheer lace and traditional ribbon work. each color telling a piece of my story.
What would you do with $20,000?
If I had $20,000, I would use it to support my people and my family. We’ve been through a lot of loss due to suicide and murder, and this would help us heal. creating space for safety, connection, and hope. I want to bring my family and community closer together and support one another through these hard times.
