Style is my voice—bold, cultural, and free. As a young Black man, I’m passionate about fashion as a reflection of pride and identity.
We would like to thank you for supporting Dante Blakeley in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style is where classic meets bold expression. I don’t just wear suits- I tell stories with color, texture, and fearless combinations. From vibrant bow ties to tailored items with unexpected flair, I bring personality to every stitch. I dress like I mean it- because style isn’t just about what you wear, it’s about how you own it.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is stepping onto the red carpet- not just as a guest, but as the event. Cameras don’t just flash for what I’m wearing, they pause for how I wear it: a custom- tailored, jewel- toned tux with embroidery, a silk bow tie dipped the finest of silk and stitched into every seam. The world watches not just a gorgeous man in a suit, but a king reclaiming space with unapologetic style. That moment isn’t about clothes- it’s about legacy and turning the runway into a revolution.
What would you do with $20,000?
Style gave me confidence, voice, and identity- and with $20,000, I’d pay that forward. I’d create a mentorship program for young men of all cultures, teaching them not just how to dress, but how to walk into any room with presence, pride, and purpose. I’d also invest in workshops that blend fashion with self-with. This prize wouldn’t just elevate my stale- it would help me elevate a generation.
