What makes your style stand out?

I was bullied a lot growing up, so I kind of turned to fashion as a comfort, starting off with inspiration from Harajuku street fashion, then the 80s/new wave/New Romantic style, then just primary colors all the time. Now I just wear anything. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that I stand out not because of WHAT I wear, but because of the confidence I have developed to wear it.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment would involve having the opportunity to be a personal stylist and to put together sick vintage fits for people to wear. It would be like those moments where the nerdy girl gets a makeover from the popular girls to look “prettier,” but in my case, it would be for me to make people funkier and fresher with a touch of color and tasteful silliness.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put it towards completing my psych nurse practitioner degree, and then maybe I’d put the rest into retiring. And I’d take a little out to take my parents and grandparents out to a fancy dinner.
