Growing up autistic I never felt I had the opportunity to express myself freely and discovering fashion helped me find my voice!
What makes your style stand out?
I think not sticking to one aesthetic and letting myself explore a variety of colours, textures, and designs helps me stand out with my style. I try and pour my personality into my style and I believe letting myself be fluid with how I dress gives me more confidence. Not focusing on what everyone else is thinking and sticking to the style that makes me feel the most magical is the best way to stand out!
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be experiencing the different fashion weeks of the world, getting to travel from one country to another and being surrounded by like minded individuals who see the art and passion that goes into the designs would be so special. Getting to know other people who love fashion while also having the opportunity to view new designs up close and personal, where you can see the real detail and beauty of each garment, would be an absolute dream.
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20,000 I would pay off my student loans from my time studying fashion marketing, and put a lot of it in my savings account to save for my future. I would also love to be able to use some to travel and get to experience the fashion and culture in different countries. Being able to visit London and see where Vivienne Westwood started her career is something I often dream of. I would love to be able to honour her legacy and see where she went from a small artist to a star of the industry!
