What makes your style stand out?

My style is my way of celebrating the uniqueness of gender. I see gender as fluid, and style as a gateway to expression, where you can reveal who you are in a way only you want to be perceived. My style as a designer is bold, timeless, and chic, while still carrying elements of grunge and punk in edgy silhouettes. I believe what makes me and my style stand out is how I blend these design elements with my values and vision, creating unique pieces for unique people while prioritizing the planet.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment is to see my avant-guard, genderless collection walk down a runway represented by the communities that inspire me to create and make a difference. I want to see my genderless designs modeled by people of colour, with disabilities and the LGBTQ+ community. Another major goal for me is to be able to style influential people within these communities for fashion events to create a purposeful statement.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use $20K to start developing my business more aggressively and invest in a cohesive collection that encapsulates my essence as a genderless & inclusive designer! THE BREAKDOWN: - $6,000 marketing & launch plan (photoshoots, advertising, social media, community engagement & reach) - $9,000 staple collection development (design, planning, drafting, sewing, samples at ethical manufacturers) - $5,000 branding & store development (developing online store and website, cohesive branding)
