I am a MUA, as well as a DPS for developmentally disabled adults. To see them be creative + express themselves through fashion/style is art.
We would like to thank you for supporting Christine Rice in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
I am a unique blend of retro, street, vintage-y 60s bombshell, bohemian all in one. I mix elements, patterns, styles and love effortless looking fashion even though I sometimes like to dress up formally (circa a nice fitted suit like Greta Garbo or Marlene Dietrich). I love finding thrift store gems and mixing them with unexpected pieces. I'm like this with interior design as well.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be to travel to Fashion Week in every country and be able to see a behind the scenes look of the exciting countdown to what happens. I have assisted doing makeup for NYFW in 2015 and it was one of the most memorable and creatively inspiring moments of my life. To assist with styling, makeup, dressing, ANYTHING at all would be fabulous.
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20,000 I would want to educate myself about style and possibly assist others with fashion accessibility and start a creative hub for people to get involved with fashion (especially teens/adults battling depression or don't know where to start with their art). Fashion and creative outlets have always helped me mentally.
