I am passionate about my work as Catrina . Every year I design new headpieces and gowns with my team to honor people that have passed away.

What makes your style stand out?
My style isn’t just for fashion, there is meaning and purpose behind it. We honor loved ones we’ve lost. I raise awareness for children’s cancer. We are using our creations to keep memories of our loved ones alive.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
I would love the world to know more about Dia de Los Muertos and the sacred meaning behind it. I would love to show our creations to the world and explain the meaning behind them.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would share it equally with the people that create these pieces with me, Belinda and Caley and my makeup artist Livier. I’m a single mom so I would put it towards my car loan.
