What makes your style stand out?

My passion for fashion and my skills with drawing brought me to the decision to become a fashion designer and stylist. I’ve been designing and styling for over 12 years. Fashion has always been more the just fabrics to me. Fashion created such a level of confidence in me that even during some of the darkest moments in my life, no one could ever tell because my pain was draped in label. My desire is to help everyone I encounter locate that same confidence that changed my life.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment? Honestly, the journey hasn’t been all smooth sailing. Being a creative comes with its challenges, so much so that I’ve questioned my passion for fashion more than once. But no matter what, the desire of my heart has always remained the same: to work with a major fashion house, to sit front row during Fashion Week, and to use fashion not just as expression, but as a way to discover potential and turn it into opportunity.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would truly be life changing. Of course, like everyone else, I face life’s adversities and have responsibilities to take care of, but if given the chance, I would invest the prize money solely into funding my dream. Many creatives work a 9-to-5 with the hope that their job will fund the life they truly want to live. For me, that dream is using fashion to change lives. Introducing to some and reminding others that your happiness starts when you look in the mirror.
