What makes your style stand out?

What makes my style stand out is pure authenticity ! I have my own creative direction with this thing I call “ quintessential slay “ and it works perfectly with or without high fashion top designer brands. I chose high and low end brands to focus on complete looks. June Ambrose taught me that in an editorial spread years ago.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My fashion dream moment is to become a creative director for “ Gucci “ or “ Versace “. The impact has so much more potential for African-Americans such as urban wear being top selling style at the moment and haute couture just being art for some at this time and point of life. I already love what Pharrell Williams has done to Louis Vuitton and it’s Ready-To-Wear Inspiration. So there’s no need for my opinion over there ! (Cliché)

What would you do with $20,000?

I’ll definitely donate to a local charity & school here in New Orleans called The Material Institute which is funded with local grants and donations for local designers here in New Orleans who are definitely interesting in building there own brands and becoming fashion designers. I attended this free school which is a years time whereas we learned different textiles, pattern making , dyes , sewing techniques and how to recycle and up cycling materials to recreate or reconstruct old into new.
