What makes your style stand out?
I blend street fashion with class. I like to mix the grunge and ruggedness of the real world and format it in a way that presents itself as elegantly raw. It represents my ideal to remain true to myself. A motif of where I’ve come from and where I want to go.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is to have my pieces featured in a runway showcase on the level of New York and Milan fashion week.
What would you do with $20,000?
$20,000 would be budgeted towards my tuition to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City to build important connections, broaden my skills and knowledge of design, and how to thrive in the fashion world. This an opportunity to exceed the precedents and hardships set in my community and grow into an inspiration for low-income people of color to seize any chance they can get.
