Stories, vision, arts and designs from independent indigenous designers is what I choose to honour and blend into contemporary high fashion.
What makes your style stand out?
I've always been one to experiment with my fashion whether what's trending or what can be upcycled. Typically I incorporate statement pieces to my attire whether it be a deep blue denim jacket with a powerful message, or a pair of long dangling earrings with geometric patterns pertaining to our arts and culture in a contemporary way. Whether it be neons, neutrals, metallics, or something simple with a strong piece, I always stand out.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is meeting the one and only Donatella Versace. Since I was young I've followed the house and seeing them evolve with all of the beautiful pieces they have. To meet her, do a shoot in the Versace mansion, and walk for the house would be a dream come true.
What would you do with $20,000?
Community and uplifting my people has always been an integral part of my being as without community and support I wouldn't be where I am today in this competition as well as my day to day living. I feel with this money I would like to initiate a fashion and styling workshop bringing in numerous indigenous designers to bring out the young people's creativity and showcase their flare and their beauty.
