Handbags as rebellion. I fuse activism + fashion into pieces that hit harder than trends. Charles Bryant, Origin Foods.
We would like to thank you for supporting Charles Bryant in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because it’s not about chasing trends—it’s about rewriting them. I rework icons like Balenciaga City bags into activist statements, pairing them with bold, unconventional choices that tell stories of resilience and rebellion. Every look is deliberate: part protest, part art, part survival. I don’t just wear fashion, I weaponize it—turning legacy and disruption into something unforgettable.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is walking in a Balenciaga show—stepping onto that runway where disruption meets elegance. Balenciaga has always inspired me because it blurs the line between everyday survival and high art. To walk in one of their shows would be the ultimate statement: not just wearing the clothes, but embodying the rebellion, resilience, and vision that fuel both my activism and my style.
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20,000, I’d fuse fashion, technology, and AI to amplify both my activism and my artistry. I’d build an undeniable campaign for Origin Foods—proving that storytelling can transform culture on any budget. Just as Balenciaga’s legacy endures by redefining style, I’d use these funds to show that the legacy of the health food movement is equally timeless, bold, and disruptive when brought into the modern era.
